What ATORSAVE EZ 10MG is used for?

• It is used to lower levels of total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol and fatty substances called triglycerides in the blood
• In addition, ATORSAVE EZ 10MG raises levels of HDL (good) cholesterol
• It is used for patients who cannot control their cholesterol levels by diet and exercise alone

Tell your doctor if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any of the following medicines

• Allopurinol used for gout
• Coumarin, warfarin used as blood-thinners
• Sorivudine and brivudine used for viral infections
• Medicines for seizures or tremors (phenytoin)
• A medicine to treat cancer (interferon alpha)
• Radiotherapy and certain medicines used to treat cancer (folinic acid, oxaliplatin, bevacizumab, cisplatin, irinotecan)
• Medicines used to treat folic acid deficiency

• Take ATORSAVE EZ 10MG exactly as your doctor tells you to take it
• Do not open your ATORSAVE EZ 10MG pouch until you are ready to take ATORSAVE EZ 10MG
• Take ATORSAVE EZ 10MG 1 time each day, with or without food
• You should stay on a cholesterol-lowering diet while taking this medicine
• Tablets should be swallowed whole
• Do not crush, dissolve, or chew tablets

If you take more ATORSAVE EZ 10MG

• If you take too much ATORSAVE EZ 10MG, call your doctor go to the nearest hospital emergency room right away 

If you forget to take ATORSAVE EZ 10MG

• If you miss a dose, do not take an extra dose
• Just resume your usual schedule

If you stop using ATORSAVE EZ 10MG

• Keep taking ATORSAVE EZ 10MG unless your doctor tells you to stop
