What CARNISURE 1GM is used for?

• CARNISURE 1GM Injection are used to treat primary and secondary carnitine deficiency in adults and children over 12 years of age which occurs when the body has a shortage of levocarnitine thus giving your body more energy

Tell your doctor if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including those obtained without a prescription.

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

• anticoagulant medicine, such as warfarin, or any other drug to reduce blood clotting

• Your doctor will calculate the amount of CARNISURE 1GM injection that you should be given and may vary it depending on your response to the treatment
• The doctor may take blood and urine samples to check the amount of the drug in your body
• Your doctor will give the injection slowly into your vein (intravenous injection) over a period of 2-3 minutes
• The usual recommended dose is 100 mg per kg of your body weight per day. This will be given in 3-4 doses
