Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you,

• are allergic to CLOPITOR A 150/20/75MG or any of the ingredients
• are allergic to other salicylates or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
• have had an asthma attack or swelling of some parts of the body e.g. face, lips, throat or tongue (angioedema) after taking salicylates or NSAIDs
• have or have ever had an ulcer in your stomach
• have ever had the problem of your blood not clotting properly
• are suffering from gout
• have severe liver or kidney problems
• have high blood pressure
• have any severe respiratory failure
• have heavy menstrual periods
• have a planned or recent surgery (including dental) in the next seven days
• have an under-active thyroid gland (hypothyroidism)
• have had previous muscular problems during treatment with other lipid-lowering medicines (e.g. other -statin or -fibrate medicines)

CLOPITOR A 150/20/75MG with food, drink and alcohol

•  Do not take more than one or two small glasses of grapefruit juice per day because large quantities of grapefruit juice can change the effects of CLOPITOR A 150/20/75MG
•  Avoid drinking too much alcohol while taking this medicine. Drinking alcohol may possibly increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and prolong bleeding time

• If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breast feed, you should tell your doctor before taking this medicine. You should not breast-feed while taking this medicine

• CLOPITOR A 150/20/75MG should not be given to children aged under 16 years, unless on the advice of a doctor

• Do not drive if this medicine affects your ability to drive. Do not use any tools or machines if your ability to use them is affected by this medicine

Aspirin:

• sudden wheezing
• swelling of your lips, face or body
• rash, fainting or difficulties swallowing
• reddening of the skin with blisters or peeling and may be associated with a high fever and joint pains
• unusual bleeding, such as coughing up blood, blood in your vomit or urine, or black stools

Atorvastatin:

• muscle weakness, tenderness or pain

Clopidogrel:

• signs of liver problems such as yellowing of the skin and/or the eyes (jaundice)
• fever, signs of infection or extreme tiredness

Aspirin:

• indigestion
• increased tendency for bleeding

Atorvastatin:

• inflammation of the nasal passages, pain in the throat, nose bleed
• allergic reactions
• increases in blood sugar levels
• headache
• joint pain, muscle pain and back pain
• blood test results that show your liver function can become abnormal

Clopidogrel:

• bleeding may occur as bleeding in the stomach or bowels, bruising, haematoma (unusual bleeding or bruising under the skin), nose bleed, blood in the urine
• in a small number of cases, bleeding in the eye, inside the head, the lung or the joints

Aspirin:

• hives
• breathing difficulty

Atorvastatin:

• anorexia (loss of appetite)
• weight gain, decreases in blood sugar levels
• having nightmares, insomnia
• dizziness, numbness or tingling in the fingers and toes
• blurred vision
• ringing in the ears and/or head
• pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas leading to stomach pain)
• hepatitis (liver inflammation)
• rash, skin rash and itching, hives, hair loss
• neck pain, muscle fatigue
• fatigue, feeling unwell, weakness

Clopidogrel:

• headache
• rashes, itching, dizziness, sensation of tingling and numbness

Aspirin:

• severe bleeding in the stomach or intestines, brain haemorrhage; altered number of blood cells
• nausea and vomiting
• cramps in the lower respiratory tract
• asthma attack
• inflammation in the blood vessels
• bruising with purple spots (cutaneous bleeding)
• abnormal heavy or prolonged menstrual periods

Atorvastatin:

• visual disturbance
• unexpected bleeding or bruising
• cholestasis (yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes)
• tendon injury

Clopidogrel:

• vertigo, enlarged breasts in males
