What D SHINE is used for?
It is used to treat
- vitamin d deficiency
- diseases related to bones like osteoporosis, rickets, osteomalacia
It also helps in normal growth of bones and cells
Talk to your doctor before taking D SHINE, if you:
- are having allergic to Cholecalciferol or to any of the ingredients of this medicine
- have Lebers Disease, a rare genetic disorder
Tell your doctor if you are taking
- other medicines or supplements containing vitamin D
- Digoxin a medicine used to treat heart ailments
- Phenytoin used for treating fits
- medicines used for sleep disturbance (e.g. barbiturates)
- Paraffin oil, a medicine used to treat constipation
- cholesterol lowering medicines (e.g. cholestyramine)
- Hydrocortisone, prednisolone medicine used to treat asthma
- Bendroflumethiazide,medicine used to treat high blood pressure
- Actinomycin,a medicine used to treat cancer
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you.
If you take more D SHINE
- Contact your doctor if you took more D SHINE than you should
If you forget to take D SHINE
- Take the missed dose as soon as you remember
- Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next scheduled dose
If you stop taking D SHINE
- Do not stop taking this medication until your doctor instructs you to
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
