ENCEPHABOL Suspension is used for the treatment of cerebrovascular and mental disorders, such as depression, dementia, anxiety and schizophrenia.

ENCEPHABOL Suspension may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

ENCEPHABOL Suspension belongs to the class of drugs called nootropic drugs. This drug acts by repairing the damaged cholinergic neurons and increasing the levels of a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine. It also works by increasing the utilisation of glucose in the brain. Thus, it helps in improving the brain function in patients with cerebral or mental disorders.

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take ENCEPHABOL Suspension as prescribed by your doctor.

• ENCEPHABOL Suspension is available in suspension and tablet dosage forms. Shake the suspension well to ensure the proper mixing of the drug. Use a measuring cup before taking each dose.

• Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the tablet with a glass full of water.
