Talk to your Doctor before taking KABIVEN CENTRAL, if you:

• are allergic to any of the ingredients in KABIVEN CENTRAL
• have severe problems with your kidneys, thyroid, heart or liver
• have diabetes
• have raised levels of electrolytes (salts) in your blood
• have metabolic acidosis (the acid levels of your body fluids and tissues become too high)
• are dehydrated with low levels of salts

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking KABIVEN CENTRAL

• KABIVEN CENTRAL will not be given to newborns or children under two years of age

• a bumpy and itchy rash appears on your body
• high temperature
• difficulties breathing

• a slightly raised body temperature

• chills
• tiredness
• stomach pain
• headache
• feeling sick or being sick
• increase of liver enzymes

• high or low blood pressure
• difficulty in breathing
• prolonged, painful erections in men
• problems with your blood

Fat overload syndrome:

• This might happen when your body has problems using fat, because of having too much KABIVEN CENTRAL. It may also happen because of a sudden change in your condition (such as kidney problems or infection)
• Possible symptoms are fever, increased levels of fat in your blood, your cells and your tissues, disorders in various organs and coma. All these symptoms will usually disappear if the infusion is discontinued

• Do not use after the expiry date
• Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
