Talk to your doctor before taking this medicine, if you:
- are allergic to Levamisole or any of the ingredients of this medicine
- have a liver or kidney disease
- Always take LEVOTAB exactly as your doctor told you
- Ingest whole tablets
- LEVOTAB can be taken with some water or, if necessary, with custard or any appropriate liquid
- LEVOTAB treatment will be started during treatment with prednisone or prednisolone as soon as the urine is free of proteins for at least three days
If you use more LEVOTAB
- If you accidently give your child too much LEVOTAB, you are unlikely to do harm
- Your child may get an upset stomach, dizziness or a headache
- If you worried that you may have given your child too much LEVOTAB, or your child seems unwell, contact your doctor
If you forgot to take LEVOTAB
- If you remember on the day that the dose is due, give it as soon as you remember, then continue to give LEVOTAB every other day in your usual pattern at the usual time
- If you remember after the day the dose was due, give a dose as soon as you remember
- Then continue to give your usual dose every other day from that point
If you stop taking LEVOTAB
- Before stop use of this medicine consult your doctor
Like all medicines LEVOTAB can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

- changes in white blood cells (neutropaenia) these changes might cause flu-like symptoms such as chills, fever, fatigue - Changes in blood platelets (trombocytopenia)
- disorders of the brain and nerves (leukoencephalopathy)marked by confusion, loss of memory, unusual sleepiness, an unusual itching or tingling feeling that occurs without a clear reason, weakness of the muscle, seizures, coma or speech disturbances
- hypersensitive reactions such as skin rash, itching, a swollen face or tightness of the chest
