What LIVOGEN Z is used for?
LIVOGEN Z contains the below mentioned components, which have the following uses:
Iron:
- Ferrous fumarate is a type of iron salt which allows better absorption in the body and has comparable tolerability. Iron is a vital mineral, that forms part of red blood cells which carry oxygen round the body
Vitamin B9:
- It is vital for production of red blood cells and for development of the baby during pregnancy. It is also required to regulate the growth of red blood cells
Zinc:
- It contributes to normal cognitive function, maintenance of normal hair, nails and skin, plays a role in cell division and the bodys immune system which fights infection
Talk to your doctor before taking LIVOGEN Z, if you:
- are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the ingredients in LIVOGEN Z
- are suffering from vitamin B12 deficiency or any anemic conditions arising from it
- are receiving repeated blood transfusions and/or parenteral iron therapy
- have any iron-storage or iron-absorption diseases such as haemochromatosis
- have any gastrointestinal diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease
- have or have had any heart problems
- have any other chronic or acute medical conditions
