MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet is used for the treatment of following conditions:

• Generalised tonic-clonic seizures (grand mal epilepsy)
• Psychomotor (temporal lobe) epilepsy
• Myoclonic seizures
• Partial (focal) seizures

MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet is also used to relieve essential tremor (a tremor that doesnt have any underlying cause).

MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet belongs to the class of drugs called anti-convulsants. MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet supresses the excessive electrical activity in the brain by preventing sodium to enter the nerve cells. This helps to stabilise the electrical activity in the brain and prevent epileptic fits.

The dosage and the drug form depends on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet with or without food. You must take the drug at the same time every day to maintain consistent levels of the drug.

If you miss a dose of MYSOLINE 250mg Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.
