
NEW I SITE Capsule is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Reduction of high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. NEW I SITE Capsule also helps to protect the kidneys from damage in people with type 2 diabetes, and reduces risk of stroke in people with high blood pressure and an enlarged heart. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
The dosage of NEW I SITE Capsule prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
NEW I SITE Capsule can be taken with or without food.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take NEW I SITE Capsule medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of NEW I SITE Capsule, seek medical attention immediately.
