Talk to your doctor before taking NORTRYPTOMER P SR 75mg, if you:

• are allergic to Nortriptyline or any other ingredients of this medicine
• have recently had a heart attack
• are having an operation under general anaesthetic
• have thyroid problem
• ever had epilepsy
• are diabetic
• have an enlarged prostate
• have glaucoma or raised intra-ocular pressure
• are agitated or suffer from schizophrenia
• have low blood pressure or heart failure
• have severe liver or kidney disease
• have suffered from urinary retention
• have previous thoughts about killing or harming yourself

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

• The safety and efficacy in children and adolescents (under 18 years of age) has not been established and therefore, pregabalin should not be used in this age group

• Do not drive or use machinery when you are on NORTRYPTOMER P SR 75mg tablets unless you are sure your co-ordination is not affected

Nortriptyline:

• serious heart problems along with ringing in the ears, stomach cramps and clumsiness
• swelling of ankles and in severe cases of the face & tongue
• alterations in brain function (including perhaps seizures)
• blood disorders which may cause you to bruise easily, become anemic or be unable to fight off infections
• changes in blood sugar level
• swelling of breasts & testicles in men and increase in breast size and spontaneous lactation in women
• inflamed liver (hepatitis) and liver damage
• thoughts of harming or killing yourself at any time 

Nortriptyline:

• dry mouth, sweating, flushing, constipation
• blurred vision, dilation of pupils
• dizziness, nausea, tremors,
• low blood pressure when standing, headache and irregular fast or heavy heart beat
• strange body movements
• concentration problems, taste problems
• weakness, fatigue
• decreases in libido and erectile dysfunction
• tingling in arms or legs, confusion, weight gain

Pregabalin:

• increased appetite
• feeling of extreme joy (elation), confusion, disorientation, decrease in sexual interest,irritability
• disturbance in attention, clumsiness, memory impairment, loss of memory, tremor
• difficulty with speaking, tingling feeling, numbness, sedation, lack of energy and enthusiasm (lethargy), insomnia, fatigue
• vertigo or problems with balance, fall
• constipation, vomiting, flatulence, diarrhoea, swollen abdomen

Nortriptyline:

• changes in sleep patterns (including nightmares)
• feeling excessively happy and hyperactive, numbness
• convulsions, vomiting, problems urinating (increased or decreased)
• rash, hives, anxiety, diarrhoea, high blood pressure, sleeplessness, increased pressure in the eyes

Pregabalin:

• loss of appetite, weight loss, low blood sugar or high blood sugar
• change in perception of self, restlessness, depression, agitation, mood swings, difficulty finding words, hallucinations, abnormal dreams, panic attacks, apathy, aggression
• elevated mood, mental impairment, difficulty with thinking
• increase in sexual interest, problems with sexual functioning including inability to achieve a sexual climax, delayed ejaculation
• changes in eyesight, unusual eye movement, changes in vision including tunnel vision, flashes of light, jerky movements, reduced reflexes, increased activity
• dry eyes, eye swelling, eye pain, weak eyes, watery eyes, eye irritation
• heart rhythm disturbances, increased heart rate, low blood pressure, high blood pressure, changes in heartbeat
• flushing, hot flashes

Nortriptyline:

• liver problems including jaundice
• weight loss, increased salivary glands
• abnormal liver function, increased blood alkaline phosphatase, increased transaminase
• hair loss
• sensitivity to light, fever, feeling irritated
• intestinal blockage or changes in sexual performance can also occasionally occur

Pregabalin:

• abnormal sense of smell, swinging vision, altered perception of depth, visual brightness, vision loss
• dilated pupils
• cold sweat, tightness of the throat, swollen tongue
• difficulty in swallowing
• slow or reduced movement of the body
• difficulty with writing properly
• increased fluid in the abdomen
• convulsions
• changes in the recording of electrical changes (ecg) in the heart which correspond to heart rhythm disturbances
• muscle damage
• breast discharge, abnormal breast growth, breast growth in males
• interrupted menstrual periods
• kidney failure, reduced urine volume, urinary retention
• decrease in white blood cell count
• inappropriate behaviour
