What SIMYL MCT is used for?

SIMYL MCT contains the below mentioned components, which have the following uses:

MCT (Medium Chain Triglycerides):

• It is useful for feeding of newborn infants, to both assist their initial growth and to contribute to their physiological development, help in weight gain of the child

Maltodextrins and MCTs:

• It is easy for digestion and free of lactose for better tolerance during diarrhoea

Sodium, Potassium and Chloride:

• It is used for electrolyte replenishment

Vitamin A, C, E, Selenium, Zinc and Nucleotides:

• It is used to support immune function

Calcium, Phosphorus, Magnesium:

• It is essential for the formation of bones and teeth

Omega 3 and Omega 6 fatty acids, Taurine, Choline, Iron and Iodine:

• It is used for brain development

Tell your doctor if you are giving your child any other medicines such as:

• drugs and supplements for any other medical conditions

• Always give this SIMYL MCT nutritional supplement to your child exactly as your doctor has told you
• Continue to follow any advice about diet recommended by your doctor for your child
• Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing the feed
• Sterilize the feeding bowl, feeding spoon and water measuring cup by boiling in water for 10 minutes
• Boil drinking water for 5 minutes and leave it till lukewarm
• Using the water measuring cup, pour correct amount of lukewarm water as per the feeding table
• Consult feeding table and add into the feeding bowl exacts no. of scoops levelled off according to the age of the infant. Use only scoop from this pack. Stir well till the powder dissolve
• Unboiled water, unsterilized bowl and spoon or incorrect dilution may endanger infant’s health. Prepare only one feed at a time. Use prepared feed immediately (within half an hour), otherwise microbial deterioration may set in. Discard unused feed
• Do not use more scoops than directed, since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by your infant
