
SMUTH Cream is a cholesterol-lowering medication, which can help prevent heart attacks, strokes, and vascular diseases. It works by blocking the production of cholesterol in the body. SMUTH Cream reduces bad cholesterol namely low-density lipoprotein. It belongs to a class of drugs referred to as statins.
The dosage of SMUTH Cream prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physicians instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Take SMUTH Cream with a full glass of water. It can be taken with or without food.
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take SMUTH Cream medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
