SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Reduction of high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. It belongs to a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule also helps to protect the kidneys from damage in people with type 2 diabetes, and reduces risk of stroke in people with high blood pressure and an enlarged heart. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

The dosage of SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule can be taken with or without food.

If your physician has instructed or directed you to take SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.

Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule, seek medical attention immediately.

However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.

It is pertinent to note that side effects of SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule cannot be anticipated. If any side effects of SPASMOPRIV 200mg Capsule develop or change in intensity, the doctor should be informed as soon as possible.

• Stomach pain
• Diarrhea
• Insomnia
• Headache
