What TAYO SOFT is used for?

TAYO SOFT is used:

• as a supplementation of calcium during growth, pregnancy, lactation
• as adjunctive therapy in osteoporosis
• to treat calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency
• to treat osteomalacia
• to treat malnutrition

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

• cardiac glycosides, diuretics (used to treat heart disease)
• thiazide diuretics (used to treat high blood pressure)
• systemic corticosteroids (reduce inflammation)
• cholestyramine (used to treat itching)
• laxatives such as paraffin oil (used to treat constipation)
• quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline (used to treat infections)
• bisphosphonates (used to treat Osteoporosis)
• levothyroxine (used to treat thyroid disease)

• Always take TAYO SOFT exactly as your doctor has told you
• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Do not crush or chew the tablet

If you take more TAYO SOFT

• If you take more TAYO SOFT than you should, talk to a doctor or go to a hospital straight away
• Symptoms of overdosage are: hypervitaminosis D and hypercalcaemia

If you forget to take TAYO SOFT

• If you forget to take a dose, skip the missed dose. Then take your next dose as normal
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose

If you stop taking TAYO SOFT

• Do not stop taking TAYO SOFT without talking to your doctor
