What TELI CL 10/40MG is used for?
It is used to treat,
- mild to moderate essential hypertension
- to lower their risk of having certain cardiovascular problems such as stroke, heart attack, or death
Talk to your doctor, before taking this medicine, if you:
- have severe aortic stenosis
- have or had cardiogenic shock
- have recent history of unstable angina or Myocardial Infarction (MI)
- have liver, kidney or heart problems
- have any other medical conditions
Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription , non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements or any of the following medicines such as:
- aldesleukin, medicine used in the treatment of cancer
- quinidine, medicine used in the treatment of heart problems
- phenytoin, medicine used for treating fits
- rifampicin, erythromycin medicine used in the treatment of infections
- digoxin medicine used to treat heart problems
- medicines used to treat your high blood pressure or heart problem
- Take TELI CL 10/40MG exactly as your doctor tells you to take it
- Take one time each day at the same time with or without food
- The recommended adult oral dosage of TELI CL 10/40MG is 5-10 mg once daily. The dosage can be increased up to 20 mg, by your doctor if needed
If you take more TELI CL 10/40MG
- If you take too much TELI CL 10/40MG call your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency room right away
If you forget to take TELI CL 10/40MG
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is close to your next dose, do not take the missed dose. Take the next dose at your regular time
If you stop taking TELI CL 10/40MG
- Do not stop taking TELI CL 10/40MG without first consulting your doctor

Cilnidipine:
- dizziness
- swelling of face, lips, eyelids, tongue, hands and feet
- fast heartbeat(tachycardia)
Telmisartan:
- injury or death to your unborn baby
- low blood pressure (hypotension)
- feel faint or dizzy
- kidney problems
- swelling in your feet, ankles, or hands
- unexplained weight gain
Cilnidipine:
- flushing
- headache
- hypotension
- peripheral oedema
- palpitations
- GI disturbances
- increased micturition frequency
- lethargy
Telmisartan:
- sinus pain and congestion (sinusitis)
- back pain
- diarrhea
