TELISTA D Tablet is used for the treatment of hypertension and fluid retention.

TELISTA D Tablet may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

In TELISTA D Tablet, Indapamide belongs to the class of drugs called thiazide diuretics. This drug acts by decreasing the reabsorption of electrolytes from renal tubules. This leads to an excess elimination of electrolytes and water.

Telmisartan belongs to the class of drugs called angiotensin II receptor blockers. It acts by blocking the angiotensin receptor blockers. Telmisartan works by preventing the narrowing of the blood vessels, which decreases the blood pressure.

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take TELISTA D Tablet as prescribed by your doctor.

• Swallow the tablet/capsule whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet/capsule.
• TELISTA D Tablet can be taken with food or without food. It is recommended that this drug is taken 4 hours before going to bed to avoid sleep disturbances.

If you miss a dose of TELISTA D Tablet, please take it immediately once you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

• Diltiazem
• Dolasetron

• Lithium
• Ramipril

• Swelling in hands, legs, and feet

• Do not drive or operate heavy machinery if TELISTA D Tablet causes dizziness or blurred vision.
• Do not exceed the dose more than what is prescribed.

You are advised not to take TELISTA D Tablet, if

• It has passed the expiry date of the medicine printed on the pack.
• The foil or packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering or there is discolouration.

• Tell your doctor if you have any history of heart problems, blood vessel problems, blood flow problems, diabetes, or gall bladder problems.
• Inform the doctor if you are taking any other drugs, OTC medications, herbal products or nutritional supplements.
