TORISEL 25mg Injection is used for the treatment of renal cell carcinoma (kidney cancer).

TORISEL 25mg Injection may also be prescribed for other conditions as determined by the doctor.

TORISEL 25mg Injection belongs to the class of drugs called kinase inhibitors. This drug acts by inhibiting the activity mTOR (mammalian target of rapamycin), a protein that plays an important role in controlling the cell division. Inhibition of this protein decreases the growth and spread of the cancer cells.

The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual.

TORISEL 25mg Injection injection should be administered only under the medical supervision. Always use a disposable needle and syringe for injecting the medicine.

The overdose symptoms of TORISEL 25mg Injection may include:

• Seizures
• Increased breathing
• Blood in stools
• Hallucinations

You must seek immediate medical care if you experience any of the above symptoms.

• it has passed the expiry date of the medicine printed on the pack.
• the foil or packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering or there is discolouration.

• Tell your doctor if you have any history of high cholesterol, brain tumour or lung disease.
• Inform the doctor if you are taking any other drugs, OTC medications, herbal products or nutritional supplements.
• Tell your doctor if you are allergic to Sirolimus or other anti-histamine medications.
